Clackamas ESD, a dynamic organization providing leadership and service to public school districts in Clackamas County, is seeking qualified applicants for:

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

The Chief Information Officer provides technology vision and leadership for Clackamas ESD and is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the information technology functions including planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of information technology services provided to local school districts, partners, and CESD. The CIO oversees policy, program analysis and development; leads strategic planning and implementation for information technology initiatives; ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all information technology reporting functions; and directs and manages information technology staff. The CIO performs a significant customer service role in ensuring that services are provided in a timely manner, are of high quality, and meet the business needs of the organization. The CIO serves as a member of the executive management team and reports directly to the Superintendent.

Candidates must have a minimum of eight to ten years of recent successful experience in strategic management of enterprise level network and information technology operations, comprehensive knowledge of: information technology systems and software; business process analysis and redesign; personnel management; financial management. A master’s degree in computer systems, data processing, business administration, or the equivalent is preferred.
