SeatGeek is a website that forecasts the price of sports and concerts tickets sold on the secondary market, analogous to what Farecast did with airline tickets. We launched a month ago as a TechCrunch50 finalist. Initial response have been excellent—we have received positive reviews in the LA Times, TechCrunch, Fast Company, CNet, and VentureBeat.

We're looking for someone to lead our team of developers. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team that has built phenomenal web apps in an agile environment. You'll be responsible for seeing our product from its an concept through to completion.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Make the major technology decisions for SeatGeek--develop framework and architecture for product development
* In partnerships with founders, identify opportunities, trends and risks related to SeatGeek's product lines
* Manage development team, track development progress, set milestones and goals
* Manage growth of our data platform to ensure it operates efficiently and scales well, constantly pushing for optimal replication, storage, and speed to protect current data and to streamline our data gathering processes

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
* Comprehensives understanding of the technologies in our stack: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, HTML/CSS
* Experience managing a team of web developers
* A good product sense and an understanding of the web 2.0 ecosystem
* Expertise in MySQL data warehousingSolid understanding of agile principles
* Understanding of web standards and a pulse on web technology trends
